The minimum wage in Seattle is 16 69 hr for most workers effective January 1 2021 or as low as 15 00 hr depending on the company So even assuming 15 hr and 80hr week residents R1 at UW 60 588 and at Swedish 61 126 make less than what they could be making working a couple of full time jobs as a barista or in retail 62 400 25 The starting salary is definitely not 100k lol Many academic places have a low base salary of around 100 150k but then more than double that with annual bonus money to bring the total salary to something that would expect an academic radiologist to make 4
Current starting at my hospital in rural southwest is 22 for X ray and 25 for CT When i got hired straight out of school in the US i got 33 50 they have been trying to pay less and less since then Im tech with 13ys experience in a hospital and i dont get that much Central florida Travel nurses can make 10k a week that s 520k a year if u work all weeks with weekends off Travel nurses dont make 10k a week anymore Just hop on to r travelnursing then you ll see the rates are dropping and contracts getting cancelled Looking at MGMAs for FM I just don t think that s the norm to make that much
