On December 21 2022 NAPS requested adjustments to the salary range that better address the severe economic impacts that face USPS EAS Effective September 24 2022 and reflecting on an employee s October 14 2022 pay statement all EAS and Pay Band Non bargaining unit employees will receive a three percent salary increase regardless of their current salary maximum STATEMENT ON POSTMASTER GENERAL S ANNOUNCEMENT OF 3 PAY INCREASE

Effective March 31 2022 the Postal Service will revise the Employee and Labor Relations Manual ELM parts 412 and 413 to modify pay policies and schedules as noted below for nonbargaining unit employees The U S Court of Appeals for the D C Circuit in a ruling last week also determined that the National Association of Postal Supervisors NAPS is able to represent nearly all USPS supervisors and managers regardless of whether the agency classifies them as field area or headquarters employees
